[. . . ] Eight (8) playback Unlock: If you select Unlock, Parental Control is not active. If you set a rating for the player, all disc scenes with the same rating or lower will be played. Higher rated scenes will not be played unless an alternate scene is available on the disc. You must enter the 4-digit password or change the rating level in order to play the disc. If you forget your 4-digit password If you forgot your password, to clear the current password, follow the procedure below. 2 Use the Number buttons to enter the 6-digit number "210499". The 4-digit password is cleared. 5 Press ENTER to confirm your rating selection, then press SETUP to exit the menu. 3 Enter a new code as shown above to the left (Rating). ote This function may not work for some DVDs. 22 DVD Operation DVD Playback Playback Setup DVD-V DVD-A General Features ote Unless stated otherwise, all operations described use the remote control. Some features may also be available on the Setup menu. DVD-V Use the 1 234 buttons to select the title/chapter you want to view, then press ENTER to start playback. Press TITLE or MENU to return to menu display. DVD-A Use the 1 2 3 4 buttons to select an option you want, then press ENTER to view the option. otes ­ If Parental Control is set and the disc is not within the Rating settings (not authorized), the 4-digit code must be entered and/or the disc must be authorized (see "Parental Control", on page 22). Your receiver will not play discs that have a regional code different from your receiver. The regional code for this receiver is 1 (one). If a title on a disc has more than one chapter or a disc has more than one track, you can select another chapter/track as follows: Press SKIP/SCAN . or > briefly during playback to select the next chapter/track or to return to the beginning of the current chapter/track. ote For two-digit numbers, press the numbered buttons (0-9) in rapid succession.
