This player requires discs/recordings to meet certain technical standards in order to achieve optimal playback quality. There are many different types of recordable disc formats (including CD-R containing MP3/WMA or DivX® files). Given the fact that technology in this area is still maturing, Toshiba cannot guarantee that all genre of recordable discs will produce optimal playback quality. The technical criteria set out in this owner's manual are meant as a guide only. You must obtain any required permission from copyright owners to download or use copyrighted content. To stop the playback
Press STOP.
To pause playback
Press PAUSE/STEP during playback. To resume normal playback, press the PLAY button.

You can play JPEG files that have been recorded on a CD-R or memory card on this player.

Preparation
Prepare a compatible disc or memory card that contains JPEG files you want to view 29 .

Insert a CD or memory card that contains JPEG files into the player.

Press / / / to move the highlight bar to select a file.

With a CD, close the disc cover. Main unit: For a memory card, press the MODE button to switch to the CARD mode. q w e r t

Remote control: For a memory card, press the MODE button to switch to the CARD mode. Each time the button is pressed, the mode will alternate as below.

Press PLAY or ENTER.
A slide show begins from the selected picture. Upon reaching the end, it will be back to the top menu.
To stop the slide show
Normal Memory Card Press STOP.
To pause the slide show
AV-IN AV-IN: External AV input mode.
A menu appears. If you insert a KODAK Picture CD, automatically starts the slide show. (See the next page. ) Some of these discs and/or cards may be incompatible.
Press PAUSE/STEP during playback. To resume the slide show, press the PLAY button.
To switch pictures
Press SKIP ( / ) during playback. : Switch to the previous picture : Switch to the next picture
Note Displaying a picture may take a while or may not be possible depending on the file size or disc.

To rotate a picture
Press / during playback. : Rotate clockwise (by 90°).
· To return to normal playback from memory playback
Press STOP twice to end memory playback.
Notes · Some discs may not permit memory playback operation. [. . . ] · Select the correct input mode of the audio receiver so you can listen to the sound from the player. · Vibrating or shaking the player during playback may produce distortion.
