[. . . ] Remove all elements from the inside or outside of the appliance used for protection during transport or for sales promotions, such as paper or plastic bags, plastic sheets, cardboard and stickers. Stand the appliance on a level surface resistant to heat (close to 90º). [. . . ] Never operate the appliance under a wall-mounted unit, a set of shelves or near flammable materials such as blinds, curtains, wall paper, etc. Never place paper, cardboard or plastic inside the appliance and never place anything on top of it (utensils, grills, objects, etc. Do not place tin foil under the appliance to protect the worktop or between the heating elements or in contact with the inside walls or the elements. By doing so you would risk seriously damaging the operation of the oven or ruining the worktop's responsibility. Any unsuitable professional use or which does not comply with the instructions will void the warranty and the manufacturer's responsibility. Take it to your nearest RECYCLING POINT or waste collection point for subsequent treatment. 1 Before using the oven for the first time, switch it on with the door open for about 15 minutes, as the heating elements may give off an unpleasant factory smell. To do this, put the temperature control in the 250º C position and set the timer for 15 minutes. 2 Wash all the accessories with hot soapy water or in the dishwasher. 3 To start the oven, choose the cooking time with the timer or put the timer in the on position. 4 Choose the desired temperature according to the type of food you wish to cook, turning the temperature control to the appropriate position. 2) Z If you only want the lower element to heat, choose position Z If you only want the upper element to heat, choose position i The pilot light will come on whenever one of the elements is operating.
