Its concept satisfies all current and future washing and drying requirements. Its low water, power and detergent consumption help protect the environment and reduce running costs to a minimum. These results were achieved by means of a special washing system valid for all pro grammes and all fabrics. [. . . ] During running cycle, press the M start button for about 3 seconds to pause it. During the pause, the M start LED flashes and the display alternates bet ween STOP and ---. To resume the washing cycle from where it left off, simply press the M start button again. The LED lights up when the washing cycle starts (M start button pressed) and remains on until the end of the programme. This button reduces the overall duration of the pro gramme cycle (washing, rinsing, spinning). This option is used to wash small loads or less dirty washing in less time. Press this button repeatedly to select after how many hours you want the selected washing/drying program me to start. Each time the button is pressed the start time delay is extended by 30 minutes up to 12 hours and by 60 minutes for the following 12 hours, up to 24 hours. After selecting the start time delay press the M start button to start the count down. The indicator LED lights up while the delayed start time is being selected and remains on until the pro gramme starts. Press and hold the W delay button until the display has advanced beyond "24". Interrupting washing programmes i Washing programmes may be interrupted at any time while they are running. Resume the programme cycle from where it left off: q Press the M start button again. Changing washing programmes q Turn the programme selector without pausing the washer dryer first. i If the tub is already full of water, the new program me will omit the filling phase. Selecting a new programme i After finishing a programme (END is on the display) first the washer dryer has to switch off, before you can select a new programme. 33 Dry only Programmes i The water tap must remain open also during the drying cycle because cooling water is required. i For handwashed laundry choose a separate spin cycle first. Setting an dry only programme The washer dryer is switched off. Resume the programme cycle from where it left off: q Press the M start button again. 3 minutes before you can open the door. 34 Changing drying programmes q Press the M start button for approx. [. . . ] q Remove complete transport protection devices (bolt with sleeve). q Insert the covers to prevent splashes or water getting inside the washer dryer, or touching parts under voltage. Installation area Appliance stability is important so that the washer dryer does not wander" during the spin cycles. Soft floor surfaces, such as carpets or surfaces with foam backing, are not suitable. If the washer dryer is to be installed on a wood joist ceiling: q If possible, place the washer dryer in a corner of the room. q Screw a water resistant wooden board (at least 30 mm thick) to the floor.
