Remove the 2-in-1 loader from the housing by placing one hand on top of the appliance and pulling out the 2-in-1 loader with the other hand. 2 Fill the water tank with fresh cold water up to the required level. To find out how much coffee to put in the filter, start with one coffee measuring spoon of ground coffee in the filter for each cup. Experiment with the amount of coffee until you have found the taste you prefer. 6 Place the 2-in-1 loader back into the housing until you hear a click. 4) and fold the sealed edges to prevent tearing and folding during brewing. 11 Thermos jug: The appliance switches off automatically after brewing. If the jug is not properly placed, the drip stop function is automatically activated. When you remove the jug,  the drip stop stops the flow of coffee into the jug. 6 Cleaning and maintenance B Warning: Never immerse the appliance or thermos jug in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap. 6 Clean the water tank, the filter holder, the glass jug and the lid of the jug in hot water with some washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher. 7 Clean the inside of the thermos jug with a soft brush, hot water and some washing-up liquid. 8 After cleaning, rinse the jug with fresh hot water and reattach all parts. C Caution: Do not remove the 2-in-1 loader with filter holder from the housing during a brewing cycle, as there will be hot water in the filter holder. 10 Glass jug: You can leave the jug on the hotplate to keep the coffee warm and to preserve its flavour. 15 English 7 Descaling Regular descaling prolongs the life of the appliance and guarantees optimal brewing results and a constant brewing time for a long time.
