Read and follow these instructions when connecting and using your monitor: Operation: • Keep the monitor out of direct sunlight and away from stoves or any other heat source. • Remove any object that could fall into ventilation holes or prevent proper cooling of the monitor’s electronics. • When positioning the monitor, make sure the power plug and outlet are easily accessible. The black portions of the picture become richer in darkness and the white become brighter. NOISE REDUCTION Note: For VIDEO, S-VIDEO, COMPONENT and HDMI inputs with interlaced video only. Press the MINUS button and the flesh tone colour turns slightly purple. Adjusts to increase or decrease the intensity of colours in the image. Press the PLUS button to increase colour intensity, or press the MINUS button to decrease it. The image looks reddish with a lower colour temperature, and looks bluish with a higher colour temperature. RETURN TO THE CONTENTS User Manual BDL4675XU COLOUR CONTROL Note: This function is only available when COLOUR TEMPERATURE is set to USER. With this function you can adjust the colour tones of the image precisely by changing the R (Red), G (Green) and B (Blue) settings independently. Press the UP/DOWN button to select R, G or B, and press the PLUS/MINUS button to adjust. Once enabled, the image brightness will be adjusted automatically when the ambient lighting condition changes. SMART CONTRAST Turned on, this function helps enhance image contrast when displaying dark scenes. Press the SET/PLUS button to open the submenu, and then press the UP/DOWN button to toggle between • DVI-D • HDMI • VGA • COMPONENT • S-VIDEO • VIDEO PICTURE RESET Reset all settings in the PICTURE menu. Press the SET/PLUS button to open the submenu, and then press the UP/DOWN button to make selection. Select YES and press the SET button to restore settings to factory preset values.
