Press <Esc> to exit the Help screen. 3-3 M S-7327 M ainboard The Main Menu Standard CM OS Features Use this menu for basic system configurations, such as time, date etc. Advanced BIOS Features Use this menu to setup the items of AMI® special enhanced features. Advanced Chipset Features Use this menu to change the values in the chipset registers and optimize your system's performance. Integrated Peripherals Use this menu to specify your settings for integrated peripherals. Power M anagement Setup Use this menu to specify your settings for power management. PNP/PCI Configurations This entry appears if your system supports PnP/PCI. Load Optimized Defaults Use this menu to load the default values set by the mainboard manufacturer specifically for optimal performance of the mainboard. 3-4 BIOS Setup BIOS Setting Password Use this menu to set the password for BIOS. Exit Without Saving Abandon all changes and exit setup. 3-5 M S-7327 M ainboard Standard CMOS Features The items in Standard CMOS Features Menu includes some basic setup items. Use the arrow keys to highlight the item and then use the <PgUp> or <PgDn> keys to select the value you want in each item. Date (MM:DD:YY) This allows you to set the system to the date that you want (usually the current date). Time (HH:MM :SS) This allows you to set the system time that you want (usually the current time). Primary IDE M aster/ Slave, (Third/ Fourth IDE Master/ Slave => for SATA A dev ices) Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu, and the following screen appears. Important Primary IDE Master/ Slave, Third/ Fourth IDE Master/ Slave are appearing when you connect the HD devices to the IDE/ SATA connector on the mainboard. 3-6 BIOS Setup Device/ Vender/ Size It will showing the device information that you connected to the IDE/SATA connector. Setting to Auto enables LBA mode if the device supports it and the devices is not already formatted with LBA mode disabled. (Self-Monitoring Analysis & Reporting Technology) capability for the hard disks. S. M. A. R. T is a utility that monitors your disk status to predict hard disk failure. This gives you an opportunity to move data from a hard disk that is going to fail to a safe place before the hard disk becomes offline. Floppy A This item allows you to set the type of floppy drives installed. Halt On The setting determines whether the system will stop if an error is detected at boot. Available options are: [No Errors] The system doesn't stop for any detected error. [All, But Keyboard] The system doesn't stop for a keyboard error. 3-7 M S-7327 M ainboard System Information Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu, and the following screen appears. CPU Infromation/ BIOS Version/ M emory Information These items show the CPU information, BIOS version and memory status of your system (read only). 3-8 BIOS Setup Advanced BIOS Features Full Screen LOGO Display This item enables you to show the company logo on the bootup screen. Settings are: [Enabled] Shows a still image (logo) on the full screen at boot. [. . . ] On the next screen, use the space key to choose a RAID mode (RAID 0/ 1/ 0+1) and use the arrow key to move to the Drives Assignments window. RAID 1 or 10 only.
