Otherwise, data loss may occur during transmission. 2-12 MS-9868 Infrared Connector: JIR1 This connector is provided to connect Infrared modules. Fan Power Connector: CPU_FAN1 The fan power connector supports system cooling fan with +12V. When connecting the wire to the connectors, always note that the red wire is the positive and should be connected to the +12V; the black wire is Ground and should be connected to GND. D 1 2-17 Hardware Setup JuMper Clear CMOS Jumper: JBAT1 There is a CMOS RAM onboard that has a power supply from an external battery to keep the data of system configuration. With the CMOS RAM, the system can automatically boot OS every time it is turned on. [. . . ] If memory sizing module not executed, start memory refresh and do memory sizing in Bootblock code. Bootblock code is copied from ROM to lower system memory and control is given to it. Both key sequence and OEM specific method is checked to determine if BIOS recovery is forced.
