[. . . ] Precautions Location Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction. € In direct sunlight • Locations of extreme temperature or humidity • Excessively dusty or dirty locations • Locations of excessive vibration Power supply Please connect the designated AC adaptor to an AC outlet of the correct voltage. Do not connect it to an AC outlet of voltage other than that for which your unit is intended. Handling To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls. [. . . ] Tune the string of your bass so that the indicator above the center mark is lit. The tuner (bypass/mute) will be turned off when you press either the BYPASS· tUNE button or change the program. Calibration (frequency of the standard A=440 pitch) You can use the Value dial to adjust calibration in the range of A = 438 Hz–445 Hz. The calibration setting you make will be valid until the power is turned off. Once the power is turned off, calibration will be reset to A = 440 Hz. HBB (Hyper Bass Boost) This function boosts the low-frequency range that is often insufficient when using small headphones. This function is also effective when the PANDRA PX3B is connected to a bass amp or mixer. The HBB on/off setting is remembered even when the power is turned off. Specifying the function of the Value Dial You can specify the function that the Value dial will perform in Play mode. If you turn off the power or select another program without performing "9) WRITE, " the program will return to its original settings. The LCD will indicate "EQ L, " and the EQ icon will light to indicate that you are in Equalizer mode. The key can be raised or lowered in 10 cent steps for the first three semitones, and in semitone steps (100 cents) thereafter. ON 100 cent unit display 26 When K-TRN or B-CAN is turned on, the output will be mono. When you enter this mode, the MOD (modulation) and D/R (delay/reverb)effects will automatically be turned off. For some input sources (mono recordings, or when special effects were used during recording), B-CAN may not produce the desired effect. The display will indicate “LOAD”, “VERI”, “COMPL” for a short time, and then the power-on screen will appear.
