[. . . ] Owner’s Manual Thank you for purchasing the Korg Digital Piano Concert NC-500/NC-300. Mains powered apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus. Do not block any ventilation openings, install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. [. . . ] Playback stops automatically when it reaches the end of the recorded data. The START/STOP button goes dark, and the playback position returns to the first measure. Begin playback of both parts, and then hold down the TOUCH button and press the PART button of the part that you want to make relatively louder. To return to the original balance: Hold down the TOUCH button and press PART 1 and PART 2 at the same time. – Looping the Playback You can set the piano to play the recorded performance repeatedly. The piano will play the performance to the end, and then loop back and start again from the beginning. The TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION button goes dark, playback stops, and loop mode is canceled. editing a recording You can re-record over previously recorded data. You can also add extra recordings onto the end of your previous recordings. You cannot add extra recordings from a point that does not store any recorded data. Please start recording from a point that overlaps your previous recording. When you reach the point at which you want to record, press the PAUSE button. Select the part you want to record by pressing the appropriate PART buttons. To start recording, do any of the following: press START/STOP, press PAUSE, hit any key, or step on any pedal. Recording will also start if you press the appropriate SOUND buttons to select another sound. If you use START/STOP to begin recording, the piano gives you a 2measure count-in before starting to record. If you use any of the other methods, the piano starts recording immediately. the piano will also begin recording if it receives a MIDI message (p. 31) on the channel assigned to the part that is standing by to record. The START/STOP button stops flashing and goes dark, and the piano saves the recorded data into memory. The recorder automatically returns the playback/record position to the first measure. With playback stopped, hold down TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION and press the PART button of the part that you wish to erase.
