[. . . ] The messages that you can assign to the pedal are: damper, sostenuto, soft pedal, portamento, or a control change (CC#). 1 10 Use the [VALUE] dial to select how the pad will operate. Momt (Momentary) If a control change is assigned to the pad, pressing the pad will transmit the assigned control change message with a value of 127, and releasing it will transmit a value of 0. If a note message is assigned to the pad, pressing the pad will transmit a note-on, and releasing it will transmit a note-off.
