You can connect a commercially-available mini-plug (1/8") earphone to the MA-30 for private listening. Use the Volume control to adjust the volume of the speaker or earphone. You can also use the Mute switch to silence the output by pressing the mute switch. In Metronome mode you can set the tempo and time signature, and input tap tempo. The LCD will cycle through these three settings each time you press the Metronome switch. ) A guide will be displayed at the left and right of the LCD in time with the tempo. If you want to turn off this guide, turn the power off, and then back on again while holding down the M switch. If you hold down the M or L switch, the tempo setting will change in steps of 20.
