Thank you for purchasing this Icom product. The IC-R20 COMMUNICATIONS RECEIVER is designed and built with Icom's superior technology and craftsmanship. SCAN OPERATION
Scan types
Scanning searches for signals automatically and makes it easier to locate new stations for contact or listening purposes.

There are 7 scan types and 4 resume conditions to suit your operating needs. 35)

Repeatedly scans all frequencies over the entire band. Some frequency ranges are not scanned according to the frequency coverage of the receiver's version. Used for checking for frequencies within a specified range such as repeater output frequencies, etc.

SCAN OPERATION
