Please read the operatorâs manual carefully and make sure you understand the instructions before using the machine.

Switch off the engine by moving the stop switch to the STOP position before carrying out any checks or maintenance.

Regular cleaning is required.
Both of the operatorâ²s hands must be used to operate the chain saw.
Visual check.
Never operate a chain saw holding it with one hand only. Kickback may occur when the nose or tip of the guide bar touches an object, and cause a lightning fast reverse reaction, kicking the guide bar up and towards the operator. If your machine bears this symbol it is equipped with a catalytic converter. [. . . ] You should always use the decompression valve when starting the machine. STARTING AND STOPPING
As the chain brake is still activated the engine must return to idling speed as soon as possible by disengaging the throttle latch in order to avoid unnecessery wear on the clutch assembly. ⢠Observe your surroundings and make sure that there is no risk of people or animals coming into contact with the cutting equipment.
Note!Your saw is ready for use.

Always hold the saw with both hands. The right hand should be on the rear handle, and the left hand on the front handle. Use a ï¬rm grip with thumbs and ï¬ngers encircling the chain saw handles.

WARNING!Long term inhalation of the engineâs exhaust fumes, chain oil mist and dust from sawdust can represent a health risk.
Never start a chain saw unless the bar, chain and all covers are ï¬tted correctly. Without a bar and chain attached to the chain saw the clutch can come loose and cause serious injury.
Stopping

The chain brake should be activated when starting. This method is very dangerous because you may lose control of the saw. The engine is stopped by pushing the stop switch to the stop position.

Never start the machine indoors. Exhaust fumes can be dangerous if inhaled.

Check that the chain brake works correctly and is not damaged. Check that the mufï¬er is securely attached and not damaged. Check that all parts of the chain saw are tightened correctly and that they are not damaged or missing. Follow the instructions above, but do not use a chain saw in a situation where you cannot call for help in case of an accident. 2 Do not use the machine in bad weather, such as dense fog, heavy rain, strong wind, intense cold, etc. Working in bad weather is tiring and often brings added risks, such as icy ground, unpredictable felling direction, etc. Take great care when removing small branches and avoid cutting bushes (i. e. Small branches can be grabbed by the chain and thrown back at you, causing serious injury.
