Start-up and shut-down Turn the power switch on the back of the unit to the "On" position. Start-up can also be attained (ex: setting parameters of the subwoofer without an analog signal, see following chapter) by pressing the button on the remote. "Night" mode This type of digital, dynamic compression of the signal permits the user to avoid large differences in playback level between weak and powerful signals. Weak signals are increased so that the bass is more present and satisfactory, even at low listening levels, while powerful signals are decreased in amplitude.
