[. . . ] Press the ENTER/ MEMO button on the remote control unit to store the input character. · Press the 7 button or the ENTER/ MEMO button to store the input character. · You can move the cursor backward by pressing the 6 button to make corrections. Press the EDIT button to confirm the names of the preset stations. . 2 Flashes 2 ENTER/MEMO Use the "9" and "8" buttons to select preset number "3" or press the "3" button on the numeric keypad to display preset number "P03". · The "9" and "8" buttons on the main unit can be selected when the preset mode has been set. (Press the 2/BAND and + buttons at the same time to change the Preset mode. ) 3 Main unit Remote control unit Remote control unit Next Flashes Using the RDS functions (This operation is only possible from the remote control unit. ) 4 Receiving RDS broadcasts (FM only) 5 Press the 9 /8 button on the remote control unit to tune in the desired preset number. 1 Press the BAND button and set the FM AUTO. If the mark is to the right of the borderline, there is little noise in the sound being received. 2 The ensemble name is displayed. ySignal Quality The sensitivity of the reception signal (0 to 100) is displayed. uAudio Information The bite rate and mode of the currently tuned in station is displayed. · The timer clock can be set using the MENU/SET button. <MULTIPLEX> By order of frequency (Default) <ALPHANUMERIC> In alphabetical order eDynamic Range Control Use 9/8 buttons to switch the dynamic range. <OFF> <1> rDAB Version <1/2> The DAB module's version is displayed. 16 11 USING THE TIMER The time and timer functions are incorporated in the CD receiver. Timer Settings Types of timer operations EVERYDAY TIMER : Use this to turn the power on and standby at the same time every day. SLEEP TIMER : Use this to set the power to turn standby after 10 to 90 minutes, in steps of 10 minutes (operated from the remote control unit). Notes on timer settings · Be sure to set the current time beforehand. · To listen to or record a radio program ("air check") using the timer, be sure to preset the station beforehand. (Refer to "Presetting or naming radio station" on page 13. ) Power Failures If the power cord is unplugged or there is a power failure, the settings of the current time and once timer are erased and the time display will flash.
