Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 1 TABLE OF CONTENTS 1. [. . . ] Find "the Cabinet Drain" 1) Remove "the Grille Front" from the unit. 2) Find "the Cabinet Drain" which is attached on rear side of "the Grille Front". the unit cannot be operated normally. Inside of Grille Front Remove the Cabinet Drain 6. Attach the Cabinet Drain 1) After front grille is removed, remove two screws located in both side of chassis. 2) Grip the handle of base pan and pull out the unit from chassis. 3) The air conditioner employs a proper drain method whereby the condensed water (moisture removed from the air) is drained to the outside. In very humid weather, excessive condensate water removed from the air may cause some water to collect. To remove this excess water you can install the cabinet drain as detailed below. 1 Install the cabinet drain to the left corner of the cabinet with 3 screws. 2 Connect the drain hose to the outlet located at the bottom of the cabinet drain. You can purchase the drain hose or tubing locally to satisfy your particular needs. (Drain hose is not supplied) 3 Screws SCREW (M4x8) CABINET CABINET DRAIN DRAIN HOSE 5 7. The first method is that the shape of hole like It is good for the household. The second method is that the shape of hole is like It is good for the shop. The rear side of the unit SEAL DRAIN Drain Cap M4x8 SCREW: Use Screw(M4x8) only. 8. Remain or Remove the `CAP BASE' Iocated on the bottom of BASE as follows. General Using mode CAP BASE Cooling & heating Remove Cooling only Attach Heating Remove CAUTION : You must remove the `CAP BASE' when you operate in heating mode. 9. Reinstall the unit, side screws, front grille. CAUTION · When the front grille is reinstalled, the DOOR VENT should be in position first so that it would not be bent by grille. Install the Air Conditioner using the Mounting Angle or other Hardware to be installed as shown in Fig. 1 For proper drainage, Rear side of the unit should be inclined about 5mm lower. Choose one of the speed settings by rotating the fan control Selector Switch to the appropriate position. CAUTION When the air conditioner has been performing its cooling operation and is turned "OFF" or set to the `FAN" position, wait at least 3 minutes before resetting to the cooling operation. [. . . ] · When blocked by curtains, blinds, or furnitures, etc. , the air flow is restricted and cooling performance is affected. · Check with dealer to determine proper unit capacity for application. · Stop noise by allowing water to drain from base fan through drain hole. · Place algaecide tablet in base pan · Remove water in base pan through drain hole.
