STUD/DRYWALL INSTALLATION 7. It may be easiest or necessary to remove any electrical knockouts at this time. Cut a rectangle in the drywall at least 9-1/4" high by 14-1/2" wide. Insert the WB-VC into the rectangle in the wall with the back of the front flange against the wall. Install screws to secure the box to the wall but leave them loose at this time. Tighten the screws.
