Adjusting the CM-VIP
3. The CM-VIP will isolate the most vibration frequencies if each isolator is supporting 6 pounds. Add the weight of the Coupling Plate, the pipe, the projector mount, the projector and any other weight the CM-VIP Coupling Plate is supporting. Divide the total weight by 6 to determine how many isolators will be required. Remove screws, washers, nuts, Isolator Bushings and Rings until the required number of isolators remains. Additional load may be applied to the isolators to achieve the 6 pound rating by tightening the screws and nuts. [. . . ] Screw a #10 selfdrilling screw into the threaded pipe through the existing hole in the coupling to prevent removal of the pipe. [. . . ]
