PRE-INSTALLATION
1. Removethewhiteshippingbraces(mountedattheendofthearmstothebackofthecase). Refertothechartbelowforminimumoverheadclearancerequiredtoraisethescreen. [. . . ] Connectthewirefromtheswitchtothewirelabeled"wallswitch" . Refertofigure3. CAUTION: Never apply voltage to the wall switch lead or the LVC will be damaged. Control Panel AcontrolpanelmaybeconnectedtotheLVCbyusingthewallswitchwirelead. Thecontrolpanelmustprovidea momentary, drycontactclosureofatleast1/2second. Use2-conductor20-24gaugewiretoconnectthecontrolpaneltothewallswitchlead. Amomentaryclosurewhenthescreenisfullyextendedwillbea"down"command. Amomentaryclosurewhilethescreenisinmotionwillbea"stop"command. CAUTION: Never apply voltage to the wall switch lead or the LVC will be damaged. Refertofigure3forelectricalconnections. Wiringdesignatedasexternalistobecompletedbyinstaller conformingtolocalandnationalcodes.
NOTE: Must be installed in accordance with the requirements of the Local Building Codes, the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), CAN/CSA C22. 1 and the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70. An appropriate disconnect device shall be provided as part of the building installation. Use14-18gaugewiretoconnectpowertotheLVCwireslabeled"ACpowerinput" . Refertofigure3. SCREEN ADJUSTMENT
Thescreenstoppositionsarepresetatthefactory. Shoulditbenecessarytoadjustformoreorlesstravelproceedas follows. Refertofigure4. Turnthewhitelimitadjustercounterclockwiseone-quarterturnatatime. Runthescreendownaboutonefootand thenbackuptotestthestopposition. Repeatuntilthedesiredpositionisset. Adjusting too high may cause the arms to lock and not retract properly. There must be at least 1-1/2 wraps of fabric on the roller at all times. Turnwhitelimitadjusterclockwiseone-quarterturnatatime. Runthescreenuptotestthestopposition. Lower thescreenaboutonefootandturnlimitadjusteragain. Repeatuntilthedesiredpositionisset. Raisethescreenaboutonefootandstop. Turntheredlimitadjustercounterclockwiseone-quarterturnto increasethedowntravel. Turntheredlimitadjusterclockwiseone-quarterturnatatimetodecreasetheamountofdowntravel. Runthe screendowntotestthestopposition. Repeatuntilthedesiredpositionisset.
