[. . . ] Assemble the device in such a way that the available ventilation openings are not covered. Should the device become damaged, in particular the mains supply cable, do not operate the device any longer, but rather have it repaired by an expert. For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead may only be replaced by an equivalent lead from the manufacturer, our customer service department or a similary qualified person. [. . . ] Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at your dealer's. Insert the mains supply plug into a correctly installed 230 V, 50 Hz safetycontact power socket. Connect the projection clock with the power supply by inserting the plug of the power supply unit into the DC 3 V socket. Please ensure that the polarity is correct according to the inscription on the device when using the power supply unit (DC 3 V). Setting of the Clock Hours: Minutes: Press the TIME key (10) and the HOUR key (11) simultaneously. Setting of the Alarm Hours: Minutes: Press the ALARM key (3) and the HOUR key (11) simultaneously. To activate the wake-up function, please push the function switch (9) towards the ON position. To switch the alarm off, move the ALARM switch (9) on the back of the device to the OFF position. With this device it is possible to project the time on to the wall or the ceiling. Please note that if you rotate it to the back the time is upside down and back to front. The automatically set alarm function can be shut off for approximately 8 minutes with the SNOOZE key (7). If you press the ALARM button (3) the "Snooze" function is switched off completely until the next day. If the PROJECTOR switch (6) is turned to OFF, you can press the LIGHT button (7) to activate the projector and the lamp in the display for a few seconds. Clean the appliance with a slightly humid cloth without any additives. [. . . ] Motor pistons, kneading blades, drive shafts, spare remote control, spare toothbrushes, saw blades, etc. ) as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
