Should the device become damaged, in particular the mains supply cable, do not operate the device any longer, but rather have it repaired by an expert. For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead may only be replaced by an equivalent lead from the manufacturer, our customer service department or a similary qualified person. [. . . ] Now insert the radio into the assembly plate mounting plate (four hooks) and press it to the rear until it locks in place. (not supplied) If there is a power cut or the mains plug has been removed from the power socket, the settings will be retained if the power reserve batteries are inserted. If the machine is not used for a prolonged period, please remove the batteries in order to avoid "leakage". Please do not dispose of used batteries in the normal domestic waste. Old batteries should be returned for environmentally-friendly disposal. By turning the TUNING knob (9), the desired radio station can be selected. In order to switch off the device, move the RADIO ON/OFF/AUTO switch to OFF. Setting the Time Hours: Minutes: Press key 3 (TIME) and key 5 (HOUR) simultaneously until the desired hour is reached. Press key 3 (TIME) and key 6 (MINUTE) simultaneously until the desired minutes are reached. Once the alarm times are set and a radio station has been selected, shift the function selector (7) to "AUTO". If you wish to not be waked up with the radio, you can turn the volume knob all the way to the left until you hear it snap. Instead of the radio, the buzzer goes off when the alarm time is reached. To turn off the alarm, push the RADIO ON/OFF/AUTO switch (7) to the OFF position or press button 2 (ALARM). After 59 minutes or 1 hour and 59 minutes (press button 5) an alarm is heard. If you wish a shorter interval, you can reduce the switch-on time with the MIN key (6). In order to deactivate this function, turn the function switch (4) to OFF.
