Consequently, do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of water - for example near a bath tub, a swimming pool or in a damp cellar. [. . . ] Switching On and Off Switch on or off the headphone with the ON/OFF switch on the right headphone (ON = EIN, OFF = AUS). Connect the cable with the small right-angle connector to the headphone and the radio's CHARGE plug. wARNING: Before charging please ensure that only rechargeable batteries have been inserted. The charging of normal batteries is not technically possible and may lead to damage to the machine. (see "Switching On and Off") If you do not hear any sound after a short time the following adjustments must be made: Adjusting the Transmitter and Headphones 1. Now slowly adjust the fine tuning of the headphones (Tuning) to the transmitter until the sound can be heard from the sound source without any hissing or distortion. The light on the headphone is green when the sound signal is lined up to the radio. NOTE: You should unplug the mains adapters if you are not using the system, since these still consume a small amount of power, like all mains adapters. If you would like to charge the batteries, the transmitter must remain connected to the electricity supply. This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements. [. . . ] The cleaning, servicing and replacement of wear parts are not covered by this warranty and hence are to be paid for.
