Special Safety Instructions for this Device Fill the water tank only with cold water!This is normal and it does not jeopardize the proper functioning of the device!Before brewing with coffee powder for the first time, let the device go through 23 complete cycles only with cold water (without the coffee powder and the filter) to clean it. Remove the thermo pot from the stand surface and fill it with cold water. Fill the water tank with water until the water tank display shows the desired number of cups. Remove the filter holder cover and insert a paper filter (size 1 x 2) in the filter holder. Fill the desired amount of coffee powder (about 1 teaspoon for 2 cups) into the filter. Place the pot back onto the stand surface and close the water tank lid. Before cleaning remove the plug from the socket and leave the device to cool for about 1 hour!This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements.
