[. . . ] You can switch between slow, fast or normal speed during message playback. The TA-150 will play your message 50% slower than normal. SLOW PAGE To replay all received and saved messages, _ 1 Press ALL after hearing: End of messages. ALL Fast Playback: From normal playback, press FAST once. The TA-150 will play your message 50% faster than normal. FAST + Normal Playback: To return to Normal Playback speed from Slow Playback mode, press FAST once. To return to normal playback from Fast Playback mode, press SLOW once. SKIP FAST MESSAGE FILE SAVE/HOLD + REPEAT SLOW PLAY/ PAUSE CALL SCREEN ERASE/FLASH _ PREVIEW NEW ALL PAGE 17 SKIP BACKWARD Skip backward -- message by message. PAUSE MESSAGE PLAYBACK You can temporarily pause message playback for up to 5 minutes. 1 2 1 Press REPEAT twice to skip backward to previous messages. The message number will be announced and the message you skipped to will play. REPEAT 1 Press ALL or NEW. Message playback stops and the NEW MESSAGE INDICATOR will flash slowly. "P" will appear in the display to indicate the TA-150 is pausing message playback. Press REPEAT twice every time you want to skip backward to a previous message. GREETING 1 2 3 MESSAGE ALL SKIP FORWARD You can skip forward through messages. The message number will be announced and the next message you forwarded to will play. SKIP P You have three options during pause: 1 OR Press ALL or NEW again to resume listening to the message. NEW SKIP FAST MESSAGE FILE 1 C Leave the TA-150 in pause mode. All messages will be saved. + REPEAT SLOW PLAY/ PAUSE OR _ 1 NEW Press ON/OFF (under the lid) twice to end pause. Press ALL or NEW to resume message playback. ON/OFF PREVIEW ALL NOTE: TA-150 will not answer calls in the pause mode. 16 PLAYING MESSAGES PLAY NEW MESSAGES When messages have been received and not played yet, the MESSAGE INDICATOR LIGHT will flash quickly. The total number of new and previously saved messages (not including messages stored in MESSAGE FILE) will be displayed in place of the clock. GREETING 1 2 3 MESSAGE PAGE PLAY ALL MESSAGES The MESSAGE INDICATOR LIGHT will either flash slowly when messages have been played and saved or flash quickly to indicate that new messages have been received. I was calling. . . After the end of the last message, "End" will appear in the display for several seconds and you will hear: End of messages. The message number will be announced and the message will replay. REPEAT NOTES: If the time and day have not been set, all messages will be stamped with "Sunday 12:00 a. m. " When these messages are erased or placed in MESSAGE FILE, the clock display will resume. CALL SCREEN & MESSAGE INDICATOR CALL SCREENING If Call Screening is ON, you will then hear your greeting and the caller leaving a message through the speakerphone. The CALL SCREEN ON/OFF function is useful when you do not want others to hear your message being recorded. If you want to speak to a caller, press SPEAKERPHONE or pick up an extension phone. The TA-150 will automatically stop recording. PAGE 15 MESSAGE INDICATOR LIGHT MESSAGE FILE 1 Press CALL SCREEN to turn Call Screening OFF. You will hear a confirmation tone and "SCREEN OFF" will appear in the display. CALL SCREEN The MESSAGE INDICATOR LIGHT has four settings: 1. [. . . ] All messages are recorded digitally and therefore can be accessed instantly for playback. In addition, other features such as Variable Speed PlaybackTM, Skip & Repeat and Selective Save & Erase are only possible on all digital machines. NOTE: The audio quality of digitally recorded incoming messages and greetings may be subtly different than incoming messages and greetings recorded on microcassette. AUTO EXTENSION DISCONNECT Whether you use the speakerphone or an extension phone to answer a call, the TA-150 will automatically stop playing the greeting or recording the incoming message. If it does not stop, briefly press and release the flash button or hook-switch on the extension phone. TIME/DAY STAMP No more guess-work to determine the time and day that your messages were recorded. Your TA-150 will digitally stamp each message with this information. VOICE ASSISTED OPERATION A synthesized voice confirms machine functions and commands when operating and programming the TA-150 at the machine or via remote access.
