Printing on a Home Printer Printing Images on a Printer with Memory Card Slot You can use a printer equipped with a memory card slot to print images directly from a memory card. After configuring settings, you can use the memory card to print on a home printer that supports DPOF or take the memory card to a professional print service. · Whether or not you will be able to use DPOF settings for printing depends on the printer you are using. The camera may mistake shadows on the wall or floor caused by strong sunlight, illumination, or other light sources as part of the subject. Have the subject move as far away as possible from the wall. Do not use a moving background! Good cropping is not possible if anything besides the subject is moving in the images. For example, avoid breaking waves, trees blowing in the wind, etc. Specifying the Subject Type and CS Speed You can select from among the four subject types listed below.
