Installing from [Add Printer Wizard] IMPORTANT If you are using Windows 2000/XP, be sure to log on by a user who has an administrator's permission when starting up. Or drag and drop the [Canon LASERSHOT LBP3000] icon into the [Printers] folder. 3 Setting Up the Printing Environment 3 The [Printers] dialog box will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen. 3-48 Using the Printer on a Network Uninstalling the CAPT Software Uninstalling removes the CAPT software from your computer. Remedy If you are using the printer sharing function on your computer, it takes a long time for the Printer Status Window to obtain the printer status. Cause If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 or another operating system equipped with Windows Firewall as a print server, communication with the client computers is blocked by Windows Firewall.
