To modify the DELAY START: first you have to cancel the previously selected programme by turning the programme selector dial to "0". If you need to open the door, you must first set the washing machine to PAUSE by pressing the START/PAUSE button. After you have closed the door, press the START/PAUSE button again. The washing machine incorporates a recirculation system which allows an optimal use of the concentrated detergent. Pour liquid detergent into the dispenser drawer compartment marked just before starting the programme. Any fabric softener or starching additives must be poured into the compartment marked before starting the wash programme. Follow the product manufacturer's recommendations on quantities to use and do not exceed the «MAX» mark in the detergent dispenser drawer. 11 ENGLISH 132990040 gb. qxd 07/11/2003 11:00 Pagina 12 (Nero/Process Black pellicola) Operating sequence Before the first wash we recommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton cycle at 60°C, with the machine empty, in order to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour half a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment and start up the machine. 4. Select the required programme Turn the programme selector dial to the required programme.
