[. . . ] Before any work is carried out on the dishwasher, it must be isolated from the electrical supply, by unplugging the power cord or removing the fuse. The power cord must be plugged into an earthed socket, which need to be easily accessible. Permanent installation must only be carried out by an authorised electrician. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent. [. . . ] Lift it out and rinse it under running water whenever necessary. Fine filter 4 It is just as important to keep this filter clean. The fine filter can easily be lifted out for cleaning when you have removed the coarse filter. Detergent dispenser 5 Consult the instructions on the detergent packet and fill the compartment. Remember that the instructions usually refer to full-size dishwashers, for example when using detergent tablets, it is sufficient to use just half a tablet. Only use detergents specially designed for dishwashers. -5- The control panel Programme lamps 1 2 On/Off button Programme selection/ Delay start Cancel button button Control lamps Programme selection/cancel button is used to: · select the programme · set the water softener · deactivate/activate the audible signal · cancel a dishwashing cycle Control lamps: Shows that: · Wash cycle in progress · Refilling of salt is necessary · Programme cycle ended The programme cycle ended lamp has also other functions of visual signalling: · on the setting of the water softener · when deactivating/activating the audible signal · with malfunction of the machine Audible signal Audible signal have been introduced to help indicate which operations the dishwasher is performing: · end of washing programme · malfunction of the machine 2. Press the programme selection/cancel button and hold it pressed until indicator lamp 1 starts to flash and lamp 2 lights up. Directly after press the programme button again, lamp 1 will change from flashing to continual illumination and goes out after approx. Lamp 2 starts to flash and the indicator for the ended programme cycle goes on. Press the button once more and the lamp for the ended programme cycle goes out. To activate the function again, follow steps above, until the lamp for the ended programme cycle goes on again. Deactivation/activation of the audible signal The audible signal is activated when leaving the factory. To deactivate the signal: With the dishwasher switched off, press in the On/Off button. If one of the programme lamps is illuminated, this wash programme is activated. Make sure to rinse off and remove food remnants on silver if it is not washed immediately after it has been used. Press in the On/Off button, the indicator for the ended programme cycle is flashing. Select the required programme by repeatedly pressing the programme button. The lamp for the selected programme lights up and the wash programme will begin. The machine will propose the last selected program. Switching the dishwasher off / Unloading Switch the dishwasher off when the audible signals for ended programme sounds (few short tones) or the lamp for the ended programme cycle lights up. 15 minutes before removing the dishes, so that they dry better and cool down. Be careful if you open the door immediately after the programme is finished, since hot steam may escape. Cleaning the dishwasher Clean the outside surfaces of the appliance using a mild (non-abrasive) household cleaning product. Do not use cleaning products which contain alcohol (spirits), thinners and similar substances. Interrupting the programme temporarily 1. Open the door carefully when the dishwasher is running, since hot steam may escape. Cancelling the programme 1. The programme is now cancelled and a new programme can be selected. Cancelling the drying phase In case you do not want to wait until the drying phase is completed, you can cancel it by opening the door. The drying phase is now cancelled. Setting the delay start The programme start can be delayed by 3 hours. [. . . ] Note that electrical faults shall always be rectified by a certified electrician. State the appliance's model designation, product- and serial numbers according to the data plate affixed to the rear of the dishwasher.
