User-Friendly Remote To further improve operating ease, the illuminated infrared wireless remote control enables you to easily control a full complement of projector functions. Discrete commands are used for most functions, so the P1220 integrates with system command remotes easily. Exceptional Picture Quality The P1220 offers true HDTV or 1280 x 720 resolution. It also has a DVI input with high-bandwidth digital copy protection (HDCP) compliance for use with digital set-up boxes that distribute high-quality video. DVE Color Wheel 8-Segment Design The dark video enhancement (DVE) color wheel reduces noise that causes the visible artifacts in the shadows of images. The 8-segment design (two each of R, G and B, plus two dark-green) minimizes gray-scale slippage for more precise reproduction of truer blacks. The DVI input is highbandwidth, digital copy protection compliant. Long Lamp Life Up To 3000 Hours The P1220 is equipped with a long-life 250W UHP bulb. This lamp is highly acclaimed for red color development and outstanding service life up to approximately 3000 hours* (low-lamp mode). (Optional spare lamp part number: VLT-D2010LP). *Service life varies depending on operating environment, usage conditions and maintenance practices, such as cleaning.
